Earlier I painted two paintings titled Blue and Brown. Well, this is Red. My apologies, the picture is not the greatest so its a little blurry. The three of them were supposed to be a series, however it turned into, well, something else. Blue and Red go together and now Brown is the odd man out.

Anyway, as I was painting this, I was totally thinking fire spirit. Blue kind of looks like Water, brown could be Earth, so where is Wind?

I think I'll paint Earth to go into this series and let Brown stand on its own. When I painted this, I created an entire story behind it. It was originally going to be a male, anatomically correct. I'm glad I went female instead. She feels liberated. I loved painting this.
